Innovation with Future Seawork, supported by MarRI-UK (Maritime Research and Innovation UK), is once again set to accelerate inventions from the next generation of innovators.
The competition, open to current university students, is judged by a panel chosen by MarRI-UK. Three projects are selected from all the entries, which have strong potential or are close to being brought to market in the commercial marine industry.
The three winning projects will be hosted in the Training & Careers pavilion at Seawork and will receive exclusive opportunities for mentorship, funding and collaboration.
The Seawork Awards, previously known as the European Commercial Marine Awards, attract entries from across Europe, recognising the depth of excellence in the commercial marine industry. The Seawork Awards celebrate outstanding innovations from the companies and individuals that comprise this vibrant and productive industry sector.
All Innovation Awards entries are displayed on the Innovations Showcase in a prominent location at Seawork and are displayed on the website prior to the event and for several months post event.
