Maritime Week Africa

Maritime Week Africa returns to Cape Town on 23-25 January 2024

At MWAF 24, delegates can register for a ground-breaking course on the future of bunkering.

The ship.energy Alternative Fuels course is taught by the internationally renowned shipping and bunkering expert Nigel Draffin. In this intensive one-day course (23 January), he will look at the potential benefits of using alternative fuels in the marine industry – and address the reality of where the industry is now, and what practical steps will have to be taken to deliver the energy transition.

The pros and cons of all the key alternative fuels available to shipping will be weighed up, with a detailed focus on production, transportation, storage and delivery.

The course fee (£395) includes lunch, refreshments and course materials.
